Explore your history. Understand the activity around you.

In Dwellhand, Vendor is the professional subscription. It offers access to research tools for people working in and around property and construction, including contractors, architects, engineers, permit expediters, agents, investors, and other industry professionals.

Use it to explore recorded work, research potential collaborators, and understand applications moving through the approval process.

Start with your professional history

If your account has a matching professional license on file, Profile can connect you to permit history associated with that license.

Contractors can review their available builder card and see how their business appears to other Dwellhand users. Architects and engineers can explore their records through the corresponding professional directories.

Read both the profile summary and the underlying descriptions. Public records may contain older names, missing information, or variations in how a license is written.

If something looks wrong, contact support@dwellhand.com with the license number, relevant permit number or address, and an explanation of what you believe needs review.

Share your card

Where available for your account, Share your card provides a public link to your professional card so someone can view it without signing in.

Review the card before sharing it. Sharing makes the card accessible through that link; it does not give someone access to your private account.

Understand Saved by

Homeowners can save professional cards as they research a project. For eligible professional accounts, Saved by shows available names and areas of homeowners who have saved their card.

This feature does not display their email addresses or phone numbers. A saved card indicates research interest; it is not a request for a quote or permission to contact the person.

Research work relevant to your business

Use Keyword Intelligence to explore records involving a trade, material, system, or project description. Switch between recent activity, permit volume, and aggregate valuation to answer different questions.

Use the Map to focus on an area, project type, or recorded professional role. Open the descriptions and source links to understand the work behind a result.

For example, an engineer might explore hillside permits, an expediter might research application activity in a particular ZIP code, and an investor might investigate the recorded history around a property.

Explore potential collaborators

Architect and engineer profiles show available links to builders named on shared permits. Builder cards show corresponding project-team connections.

These records can help you identify people whose work overlaps with your interests. Review the projects and make your own assessment before approaching a potential collaborator.

Follow submitted applications

With Vendor access, Submitted Permits lets you explore open applications grouped by address.

  1. Search an address, keyword, or ZIP code.
  2. Use the map to focus on an area.
  3. Expand an address to review its applications and recorded statuses.
  4. Read the filing and movement dates, work descriptions, and available documents.

An application can change during review. Treat this as a view of recorded pipeline activity, rather than a promise that a project will start, receive approval, or need a particular service.

Use the history to prepare better conversations

Dwellhand helps you discover records and connections. A useful next step is to discuss the actual project, scope, timing, and responsibilities with the people involved.
